So this weekend some friends and I went out to the old 4wheelin spot we've been going to for the last 15years. When we pulled up there was a fence up and a sign saying keep out (wich never really stoped us before). But now there bull-dozing to put up condos.. Now that just sucks, condos in the middle of corn feilds. Has this happened to any of you..

happening all over up here in upstate ny, alot of the places we use to wheel are now stores, and track houses, and most other spots have been cabled off, use to be able to wheel power lines, really cant even do that any more, thank god for clubs and members with property,

spoon, i grew up in cadillac and when i was young, we had lots of places to go wheelin and play on our dirtbikes and 4wheelers. but now that i go back to the old neighborhood, houses everywhere and all the trails i used to ride are blocked by houses now. it sux. we need more places to wheel. you need to get involved in your local community for trail cleanup and stuff like that to keep our trails open. if i ever end up owning a lot of property when i get out of the military, you are all invited to my annual mud bogs!!!

Heck in California they just about blocked off the whole damm desert! Without the National forest roads in the local mountains we would have no place to 4 wheel. Don't even get into hunting & fishing regulations, this State pretty much has been run over by tree huggin liberals.

The only nice thing is that we can still off road on state land, but the drive to get to any good spots is to long of a drive for most my friends. And weekend off road trips are getting harder to do cuz everyone has kids or have to work..

yeah california pretty much sucks. unless you go north. azusa canyon is a pretty good place to wheel if you like trails and mud pits. gormon is another good one for trails and what not. im not into desert or trails. my truck is a midwest mud truck. so slim pickens for me in cali. when i get out of the military and move to iowa, lots of places and 2-tracks to wheel.
