Sorry, I have not been visiting this forum for sometime so unfamiliar with what's going on in the community.
Anyone with a 1st generation expedition here have interest in building a supercharged 5.4? I have a 2000 ford expedition that can be found in the following thread. Don't know how many...
My best e.t. was 12.61 @ 107.5 mph and that was back in 2012 I believe. It's posted on dragtimes if you want to look it up.
The bottom end was built to handle north of 1000 hp and planned to install a larger whipple supercharger or go turbo when funds allowed. It has the eaton that came on...
I missed this thread because I have not been on this site for some time. Nice build ! I did my own build over 10 years ago with my 2000 expedition. https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/another-blown-expy-coming-soon.11485/
Built bottom end, TFS heads, after market cams, lighting...
Quickest 4th gen expedition I have been able to find to date is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbg-BASUaBM&t=699s
2wd 4th gen running E50, tune of course and mild mods.
Curious if anyone has taken their 4th gen to the track and what kind of numbers they are posting? I know it's not your typical track vehicle but the 3.5 ecoboost is quite capable and responds very well to a tune and mods.
Comp Cams 102500 in mine but with boost and TFS heads.

Zero lope. I would forget about lope in a heavy SUV. What gives you the lope will also kill low end power / torque and require modding almost the entire drivetrain...
"Loppy idle" cams generally mean there is significant overlap for more power at higher rpms and this moves the powerband up. Power will be down in the lower rpms as well as significantly higher emissions. Always a trade off and not very good one in a heavy "work" truck unless it is off road or...
I actually got a fresh battery and ran my beast today ! Been sitting awhile.. :-( Just making sure I am prepared for the 'potential' snow.
My taurus SHO is awd but given the high mileage low profile tires and low ground clearance, I don't have a lot of faith in it in anything more than a few...
'Last check, assume the engine is flooded pull out the fuse for the fuel pump and start the engine while fully deppressing the accelerator pedal. If it wants to start after that put back the fuse and start it again normally.
If it still wont start, check the wiring of the MAF sensor. Because if...
