    Not quote black but gunmetal centers with black lip. Came with 20" chrome clads but had to change those out. Went to 18" wheels and used Hankook Dynapro ATM tires.

    My 2013 is good. Perfect paint. So if you have all these issues with Ford, why do you keep buying them? Easy to spell? OP, that sounds like a great deal though. Don't let the all the negatives sway you away. They are great trucks and help on fixing anything is always a click away.

    On my 2005, I had the paint bubbles on various spots. Not just the tailgate and hood. Look man, we get it. You don't like the aluminum Fords or offroading a "non-offroad vehicle". I am sure the Chevy forums have more than enough space for you. I mean the H3 forum.

    You make it seem like the problem is with the Aluminum. From what the research was saying, it was due to "inferior surface preparation or contamination". Keep in mind that preparing any surface incorrectly can cause problems in the paint. Back to the Triton, I had an 05 that I did the plugs...
