You need something like this to make everything intergrate well

OK, that's more detail to go on.
Yes, definitely replace the tires first. Wearing tires can definitely affect the alignment as well as hitting a pothole as well.
If the car tracks straight and that wheel is off with no further play, chances are that the last tech that did the alignment did not center the wheel well when doing it. I'd start by going to a shop and telling them your concern so that the tech is focused on getting that right. Otherwise a...
You should be able to drive 4A anytime you want. The binding is definitely indicative of the center differential locked up and not allowing the drivetrain to freely move.
Dealer saying that you shouldn't drive it unless in rain & snow sounds like a cop-out answer or they don't really know what...
Interesting, never thought of that. I would assume the constant smudging and swirl marks from constant touching are a thing of the past? That would also kind of be a safety feature too since the keypad doesn't have a securescreen feature (random #'s pressed before the actual code) to deter...
I have a base model XLT, no ADAS systems whatsoever. My rear pads were completely worn down when I replaced them vs. the fronts at about ~80% life. So I don't think anything like AAC or Lane Keeping has any bearing on this symptom.
I have heard that the brake system in these trucks are more...
I changed mine to six flashes. I did mine via the Hexidecimal as-built method. Looking into this again (F-150 forums), looks like you can do it through the comfort mode.
You need to start a build thread of what you got going on!
More so, everyone's going to be asking (including myself) what you had to do to make that Ironman front bumper work besides just trimming that front bumper panel.
If you have a steady hand at soldering, I would try it yourself. Really isn't a reason everyone getting the glass replaced unless the conductors have somehow suffered excessive damage.
You do not gap them, they are pregapped. There's even a warning not to. Most of these newer non-copper plugs are like this these days. You can double check them to ensure that they are close to spec or all even, but due to some of these newer exotic materials used, the spark characteristics...
I tried one of those dashcam adapters for my Escort since it's really nice and clean looking, but my RD runs on 12v instead of the USB 5v and didn't work. Went back to the original mirror taps.
Just something to keep in mine with those harnesses.
Another discreet culprit could be the front pinion bearing. I just replaced my front pinion seal due to it leaking with the help of an experienced mech friend of mine. We pulled out the oil slinger and pinion bearing while at it to inspect and all looked good. When we put the nut back on and...
Just installed these, went without a hitch. They're working great as far as I can tell. I feel like highway mpg has increased, but don't have enough data to back that up.

I have the Morimoto 3.0's. I upgraded just before the 4's came out, but they're pretty much the same other than the improved chip mounting area. I had the low beams as DRL's for a short while and had no issues. I'm not sure if I even noticed a flicker. I have since reprogrammed via FORScan...
I'll chime in on previous experience that I had with SPC UCA's that I had on a 4Runner. They do work well in being very versatile in dialing in A LOT of adjustment. That being said, it's like the old saying too much of a good thing can be bad. I found that quite a few shops that I would take...
It would be nice if there were one for the front. Changing the fluid requires siphoning as there's no room between the cover and steering rack to service. You can almost see in the diff casting south of the fill plug that there may have been plans to put one in.
Thanks for that link. I think I have heard similarly that the 4G has a similar space available behind the quarter panel. Might be more in there for me since I don't have a factory sub.
I do have space behind the dash as well. I did an install to amplify my center channel with a Soundstream...
In the planning stages of upgrading my stock basic Sync setup. Just looking for install ideas of where some have already installed amps. I'm sure the common areas are under the front seats.
Looking for any additional areas of creativity (behind trunk paneling, etc.).
Glad to hear that has worked out for you. I'd be interested in seeing pictures of how and what you have done to get this working. I was also looking at this recently and thinking another way to get individual signals would be to tap into the 7-pin trailer harness.
For the turn signals, sounds...
I just completed installing the Ford VSS+ module to my Expedition. My truck is rather base and plain for an XLT (200A), and thus it did not come with a remote start or security system. The remote start was my primary want and the security system was a secondary benefit. I was able to pick up...
I've worked for a couple high end OEMs for over 20 years and seen technology changes. Sometimes components may be different enough for the technology (HID vs. LED), but not in physical shape and basic function (as in this case), so instead of completely renaming, the device name stays the same...
Not entirely true...
LEDs still use a driver similar to that of a ballast driver that HID headlamps use. Symptoms of a failing module is also similar to that of HID (flickering, noise, etc.)
See diagram for item 13C170 (FL3Z13C170B) in this case.
