That is a good question. I ordered mine with the heavy duty tow package so I have a built in brake controller and didn't get the harness. It would be nice of Ford to include that harness for those who didn't get the built in brake controller. Being nice doesn't seem to match Ford lately LOL...
One feature the large screen has over the smaller one is personal profiles for different people (think radio station settings changing between people etc.). There is also adaptive cards but I don't know what those are, perhaps someone can chime in.

When you turn it off, it asks you if you want all sensors or perimeter only. Choose perimeter only and it will ignore the internal sensors. There is no way to default it to that option that I'm aware of so you would have to do that each time you get out.
It's your money so you should do what you want, unless you want to give it to me :)

Back on post #40, I looked into the part numbers from a pre-refresh and 2022 and they are the same. So based on that no it isn't a smaller new part. So it is either a factory install issue or a new part supplier IMO.

The 2024 order guide states you have to have the Timberline 501A package with the 15.5" screen to get the 360 camera.
You can get the 360 camera on the XLT 201A with Special Edition and HD Tow with the smaller 12" screen. This is what I have on my 22.
