I have recently with in the last 6 months flushed my whole cooling system, changed the thermostat and replaced and flushed the radiator for a bit seems like the heat came back for that day I replaced all the coolant and flushed the system but it gradually started to lave low heat in the truck this truck also has rear heat and air too. like I said flushed from front to back could the water pump be worn at the impellers causing a low flow to the whole system the truck don't over heat or run hot it just don't heat up well inside the truck passenger area.

Check the coolant flow into the heater core first then check the flow out of the core. That will narrow down where the problem lies.

How much rusty crap was in the engine when you first flushed it?

the flow was light in and low out there is little heat but not enough to take the chill out your always cold in the vehicle not froze but not comfortable either when I put the garden hose to it I had good flow in and out of the cores. as far ad the build up coming out it was moderate heavy at first but lightened up soon after starting the radiator flush.

so i have a conclusion to the trouble heating of the cabin area it indeed was the water pump under load the circulation fans were flexing out to a straight line due to being old and way worn down clear difference in the old pump to the new pump as far as impeller quality the old was way thin and brittle the new was way thicker and more strong looking but during the water pump replacement i did completely flush all lines ports and areas of the cooling system and now i have HEAT like you wouldnt believe.
