Muffler Tips, I know..

my single straight pipe isnt really as loud as you would think.... I kept it all the stock size tubing , all the cats are still there and its only single.... Its prolly about as loud as a flowmaster 40 series but in my opinion sounds alot better than flowmaster.... I was orig. going to put a flow on it but didnt have the funds to do it then about a week after I straight piped it my buddy gave me a flowmaster... its still on the floor of my shop lol have no intention of putting it on my expy.... but thats just me

I agree as I have the exact same single straight pipe setup on mine and I love the sound. No need for a muffler in my opinion and the only change i want to make is to run dual straight pipe in the back.

no its really not loud... with all four cats i was depressed when i first had my flowmaster put on the guy let me fire it up right before he installed it so i could hear how it sounded i thought it was gonna roar he saw the look on my face and said yup thats ford... puttin 4 f..in cats on a truck, o and this was in the winter in clarksville tn so we where in the shop with all shop doors closed... we didnt run it for more then a couple seconds for all of you thinkin thats not smart to run a vehicle in a closed shop we just fired it up to hear it then killed it. if you can take it to a shop tell him your undecided and you wanna hear it first with the muffler jusst cut off... it may save you from payin for a muffler

nothing wrong with starting a vehicle ina closed garage...do you know how LONG it takes for the gas to fill up the garage before you start feeling affects of it...thats my legal high...lol...you couldve rev'd it up a couple of times and been good

I have a Flowmaster 40 series muffler in place of my factory muffler, then I stuck a magma flow 4" diameter, 18" long polished stainless tip. It not only looks good but sounds terrific!

I did a magnaflow muffler with a tip. I love the way it looks and it's not super loud but has a great meow tone with no drone

i hate factory muffler tips, i went for a bully tip, looks so much better, its a 5" check out my pics, see what you think.
