You can use the keyless entry keypad to:
• lock or unlock the doors without using a key,
• activate or deactivate the Autolock feature if equipped
• release the liftgate glass,
The keypad can be operated with the factory set 5–digit entry code; this
code is located on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box and is
available from your authorized dealer. You can also create your own
5–digit personal entry code.
When pressing the controls on the keyless entry keypad, press the
middle of the controls to ensure a good activation.

did u buy the truck used? if not...you should have a little tiny metal piece with the code stamped on it...if not i font know where u can find it as it seems that the location seems to change between generations the location...i know its not easy to find

I was told that there is a 5 digit # located against the body of the truck under the dashboard in front of the passenger seat against the fender area and that is the master code. is this true?

I found mine a few weeks ago.
I had to pull off the door to the compartment in the passenger foot well, then remove the weather strip up the inside of the vehicle so I could get in there to see the sticker. I used my phone to take a pic and video of the sticker. Put the code in the door, then added a code that I can remember. Took me about 20 mins in total.
