I have a wrecked door that has a good B. Pillar Molding that I would like to take off and put on my door, which has a ugly hail damaged pillar. Is this possible and how do you get it off without damaging it?

If you are talking about the shiny, black vertical moulding that is at the rear of the front door window frame (where the B pillar is when the door is closed) - the interior door panel must be removed, then the door window frame channel weather strip moulding removed. Then, pop rivets must be drilled out for the part to be removed and then reinstalled.

I have a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 that had this part dented by a rock thrown by a concrete truck when the vehicle had 200 miles on it. I ordered the part from Ford and had a local body shop install it for me. Quite labor intensive.

B Pillar Molding

I think I uploaded 2 pictures, but the molding is on the outside of the Expy, it is the shiny piece of trim on the door, Vertically next to the window.

Its on a 2004 Expy EB. My daughter backed into the door, so we went to the junkyard found another door, same color but the Trim piece looks like it has hail damage. So I wand to take the trim off of the wrecked door(because it looks new) and put it on the junk yard door

I am pretty sure I have to remove the piece on the outside of the door under the window first(not sure how to do this) to be able to get to the B Pillar molding.
I have seen online how to do what I want, but it was on a F150 truck, It looks like it will be different on our Expy.

Thanks for any help
