i think...from looking up a while back but correct me if im wrong its the sensor AFTER the cats on exhaust...whats best way to take these off. heat it with hand tank torch just AFTER running truck so its hot already??? its right there in the open ready for a open end wrench but looks OLD. maybe original! anyone ever pull a sensor out before?

P0156 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2

Drivers side after the Cat.

You get a special socket to help remove the sensor also spray some penetrant on the threads such as PB Blaster

the sensor socket is made so you can use it without any interference from the sensor wire it fits over the sensor If you can use a regular socket or wrench then do so

done! got the socket set to do it like you said bedrck46....looking at it i wouldnt chance wrench on it and it was on tight too. "actually", i used not the deep socket with slit in it from kit but the other which had better bite going around wire with breaker bar just to loosen.

I got one and used it once little bit costly but its there if ever needed again Plus what it saved in time and effort was worth the cost

oh yea ...by the way...$63 :winner_second_h4h:...for a (bwd) egr and the (bosch) oxygen sensor with discount code at advanced auto. without it,was just over $100. advanced auto only carries BWD products on certain parts i noticed.:bs:
