I striped two t45 torx round on my 2004 so I used a 7mm Allen socket and it worked like a charm.

I had taken the camera on my phone and shot a pic while I was working on it to see if it was torx or allen. Absolutely, definitely allen on mine. They could have been not original since I bought it used and I'm sure at 110,000 miles it probably had a previous brake job done before I got it.

It's probably got aftermarket bolts/calipers on it. A lot of times they do that. Well snap on and most company's do make a 9mm Allen 3/8 socket. If it's slightly bigger than 9 mm then 3/8 is your size. Sounds like you don't have a full set of Allen's. Don't sweat it when I did this full time, I was always buying something new. Hell At 60, I still keep needing something new, never ends.
