It's a 2005 Expedition sorry for the confusion.

You can double check the amsoil site but it should take the same fluid. Wolf's head is a cheaper full synthetic that should work too.

i tell ya my Expy is just like the energizer bunny..keeps racking 250-300 miles a week without asking for more then fuel and washer fluid.

i need to get my snow tires off soon as the roads are dry and wearing away at them daily.

it just rolled over 99k miles the other day :( going to be at 100k soon sadly.

Sad? I'd still consider that low mileage.

Had to replace the fog lights. One of them had a crack in the lens. It was full of moisture. I picked up a pair on Amazon.

Finally had to replace #5 cop. Thanks to the info on this forum I had a spare in the truck. I was able to replace it in a couple minutes in the church parking lot just before the service started. Gratitude also for obd II and torque pro.

Finally pulled the expedition out of the garage after being in there for over 2 months and drove her to work. The expedition doubles as a comfortable bed which is why it was in there that long :D

just got back from a trip to San Diego,CA. my first long trip with the expy... gotta say its much better than the kia spectra we had. avg 16mpg probly due to my 80mph speed and the BFG's but she did awesome, only downshifted on the steep mountain climbs and still held 80mph with the AC blasting!! lol.... I love this truck but only down side is getting ALL the sand out of this beast...haha

Got a new set of tires for the expy, wild country all terrains, with a 80,000 km warranty. cleaned a few sensors also, I can't get over how nice the truck is driving, and the volant intake is roaring, I love my expy so much I still can't believe I picked it up for 1600. Best 1600 I ever spent.

Had a brisk rain today, turned on the wipers, drivers side fell off ( lol ), don't think whoever changed them last put the retaining whoyah on. Replaced them anyways.

Drove her to work (also in the rain). She was really running rough today, most likely due to water getting past the boots and causing some misfires. She runs fine in dry weather. I got sick of the delay in acceleration and choppy idle on the way to work, one 4500k pull and she was running like a charm again haha.

I should have put dielectric grease on the boots but was already deep in the project of replacing plugs when I realized I did not have any and decided to roll the dice. Bad choice haha.

I loved my '98 expy a lot too. Picked it up for $1000. Engine threw a rod though and I was getting ready to move soon so I sold it but sometimes I regret not getting the engine replaced and just keeping it garaged until I happen to head out that way again. Hope she brings you many years of enjoyment!
