Replaced stock stereo with the JVC in the link here. I read reviews about the way it improved the sound of the stock speakers. As soon as the family heard it, they all said the same thing. Especially the one who sits next the subwoofer in the back. Before, he was over powered with the bass, but now he hears the music. It is hard to describe, but the whole system seems to have opened up to produce a lighter, clearer, and fuller sound. Plus it brought bluetooth music and calling for two phones , Pandora, and more to my 2006 Eddie Bauer. This took out one major excuse for buying a newer expy.

Extracated a snow-bound F250 SuperDuty 4x4 (driving on horrid all-seasons); day before yesterday extracted a snow-bound Explorer AllTrack thing; on 75% bald, cheap all-seasons.

it's Always about tires, folks. Don't get stuck.

Pulled my neighbors (COUGH, Chevy trailblazer) out of his parking spot this morning so I could get close enough to get my booster cables onto it, the expedition yanked him right out of the deep ice ruts that he parks in (he doesn't shovel either) and boosted him right up and I was on my way.

Moments such as that one are when I can really see the benefits of keeping my truck in good working order, I gotta say, it feels nice!
