2008 xlt: In desperate need of new carpet!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am in desperate need of a used carpet(front seats and 2nd row). I can't find one ANYWHERE! any suggestions? I would put this in the "Wanted" section but apparently I don't have permission to post a new thread there.

Here's what I tried:

ALL salvage yards within a 300 mile vicinity
MANY MANY ebay ads from junk yards around the nation selling parts from their expeditions. Most of them responding they didn't have it or that they "don't sell carpet". I understand their answer because it would be a pain in the butt to have one of their guys empty out the inside just to remove the carpet.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions! or better yet, if you have one!! thanks!

normally the 1st post from ppl is an introduction...so welcome to the site...you cant just buy for the 2 rows...carpet will be for the entire truck to include the 3rd row...if you don't want to buy new the only option is to go to junkyard and remove everything yourself and take the carpet out...

youre correct about not having permission to post in that section...its to prevent ppl only joining the site posting one post and never being heard from again...they'll sell something and be gone or post a question as you did as your 1st post without introducing themselves...here's my problem...help me out...we will do that...but we're a community as well that tend to socialize as well as help others with probs....

so either take all the stuff out...or buy new from a shop...good luck with that

To answer your questions for the record (my record):

Yeah that's what I meant, the one that goes up just behind the 3rd row.

Can't buy new. No one is offering new OEM molded replacement carpet for 07+, at least not all of the online replacement carpet companies. Too much to get it custom done.

Buying it new from the dealership at ~800 is out of the question.

No junkyard has it, read my original post about that...

Ease up dude, he didn't say anything to deserve that reaction. The only answers are new, custom, used or DIY. You said no to new or custom, you already said junkyards won't sell it because of the work. Either DIY or ask the junk yard if you can do the work. Is it worth it to drive farther than 300 miles with time / wear & tear instead of paying a dealer?

With an attitude like that I bet he would be a fun member. I bet he treats his wife and kids like that and I bet he also kicks the dog just for wagging its tail

If you can't take the time to introduce yourself then why waste the forums time If it were up to me you would get nothing but a cold shoulder as that is what you deserve with your attitude Take that back to the other forums you belong too or did they ask you to take your attitude and go elsewhere

I would love to kick your dog and family too, please forward me your address...of course I image you've only been successful in getting a dog in your life, and that's only because he didn't have a say in it.

and that's why you're not in charge (or have ever been for that matter) because you would make very stupid decisions.

I've already wasted so much time on here, both responding to nonsense and in trying to figure out a way to delete my account. Hopefully the moderator can do me a solid and cancel it/delete it/block it for me.

you won't be missed and if you like I would gladly send you my address but wait a minute the cost you would spend to get to PA and back can be better served by you taking your sorry butt to the dealership to get your new carpet.

Not only are you in desperate need of new carpet you desperately need a new attitude.

what color carpet are you looking for?

Need some new carpet and a tampon? What's with all the hostility?

Forget the carpet just go get a new expedition.
