I have 117k miles on my 04 and I'm just starting to get rust bubbles above the rear wheel wells. I've been trying to find some fender flares like the ones on the Eddie Bower expys but haven't seen many options. Im going for more of a stock look but I'm open to some different options, just not too much available for our generation of expys I guess. Any idea where I should be looking or if anyone knows where I might be able to get some it would be appreciated.

The only ones I've ever seen other than the factory EB flares are made by EGR but I can only find them for the front now for some reason. I'm assuming they've stopped making them, shame if they did cuz they looked really good.

Not my truck (a member that used to be here) but this is what they look like

you wont find fender flares like those on my truck...they arent flares...per se...they actually are apart of the bumber...they separate about a quarter of the way up for the bumper...and they clip in the fender...so you would have to buy the lower bumber as well to look right

Thanks, it looks like EGR doesn't have much for the expedition anymore, those would be the best option for me though out of what I've seen. Where did you find the rears Mike?

Think its possible flares for F-150 or first gen could be modified to work?

Personally I would get the rust fixed before adding fender flares and tearing that area with tar so it won't continue

I used to be able to find the whole set on eBay but that was about 2 yrs ago. I think it was only the fronts that I could find after that and I believe it was andysautosport.com or autoanything.com if I remember correctly. I did a quick search for them today and I couldn't come up with anything.

Not sure if the f150 flares would fit, probably have to get ahold of EGR directly to see. It'd be sweet if they did.

Yeah, definitely would fix the rust rather than just cover it, I would probably grind out the bad parts then just coat with por15 or similar. I gotta say though that Loctite rust reformer with rustoleum over is holding up great on my frame. I've seen a few Rangers with aftermarket flares around and it looks like the curve of the wheel well is really similar, maybe could modify a set to fit. Thanks for checking again about those EGRs, surprising they would stop making them as there are still so many 2nd gen expys on the road and this is about the time mileage wise that owners would need flares to cover rust. If I can pick up a set of f150 or ranger flares cheap enough I'll see if I can get them to fit.

I have been checking this thread DAILY for someone to come out of the woodwork with a random company that still makes flares for the 2nd Gen.... Still nothing ):
