So I've seen a few threads on disabling the iwe system... Has anyone manually locked the actuator on the front did so the hubs are always locked? I don't think my truck has the iwe system... I was thinking about binding the actuator lever back and pulling the vacuum lines off the selenoids and plugging them to keep out water and such...
Is it valid to figure that the 4wd would function as usual just the hubs would not disengage?
I kmnow that the axels and front drive shaft would turn continuously, that doesn't bother me... I'm just wondering if it would have negative reperfusions?
Thanks

I dont think it would ruin your transfer case but why would you do that? If you dont have any vacuum leaks in the 4wd system and its still functional, then leave it as it is.

Its mnot that I don't have leaks... I have no vacuum at the actuator... And go figure my luck today, went to pull the lines from my solenoids and the lines on the 4wd solenoid broke right off in my hand... So I said f-it and just strapped the actuator in with zip ties for the moment... Its snowing now and I don't have the time to mess with it right this second...
