I just need to replace the radiator in my 1999 Expedition EB full options with sunroof .
I need to buy radiator.
But when I research it, it seems two kinds with towing package or without towing package.

Which one should I buy?

And should I remove fan blade or not?

Thank you so much for giving your experience.

Please help me. And give me some direction for me.

Best to use a two row Radiator Also would be easier to remove the fan blade You made need a special tool which you can borrow/rent from most auto parts stores. Removing fan blade makes it easier to remove the fan shroud and radiator. You may also want to consider replacing the Radiator hoses Upper and Lower and maybe a new T/stat.

2 row is bigger, need it if truck is used for anything heavy duty like towing, plowing etc,

hoses & t-stat if, or don' know how, or looks/feels old,

i took my rad out without pulling the fan but wasn't easy, separated/disconnected the upper & lower fan shrouds then twisted the bottom one out, top was easy

The expy will fit either a single row or double row radiator The outside dimensions width and height are the same the thickness is different but either will fit. Yes the rad can be removed without pulling the fan but why fight it. Get the tool to help remove the fan and as I posted earlier replace the hoses. Better to have new everything than risk having problems thru the winter.

if you want to know which radiator you have, you can run your VIN on ETIS, and if it says "factory towing package" than you have the larger one.
