2015 2nd row middle seat delete?

Hey guys, I purchased a 2015 Expedition with the 2nd row middle seat, I was wondering if anyone has ever removed it and if so any tips?

I want to make it easier for my boys to hop into the 3rd row..

I presume it's the same as the 2007-2014 models. Just remove the plastic covers at the base and unbolt the seat.

I have 2nd row buckets in my EL, so I'm not sure if the middle seat uses the exact same plastic covers, but have a look at my post here for how to remove the end covers without breaking them.
