EL will be more...longer...is that the selling point?

The EL is 14.8" longer according to official specs, but I don't know how much of that is actually cargo length. I also don't know how many long the XLT's cargo area is to begin with. My Mountaineer's cargo area is 72" so I'm trying to get a feel for what I gain with the 2 Expedition models.
gotcha...the expedition will fit a 7-ft table with no probs...and the EL adds even more...I believe its an extra foot of cargo space on top of the standard length

I measured 86" from the back of the front driver seat to the closed tailgate on the floor on my non-EL XLT. That will change a little depending on where your driver seat is set.
Doesn't matter the model vs EL...everything will measure the same except the cargo area...EXTRA LONG
