2000 Expedition i,ve got a problem someone can help me with, Front passenger seat is for lack of better words broken down and you actually lean into door making it uncomfortable to sit in. Its tan leather, leather in great shape. I,m disabled and have to sit on edge of seat and pull myself in and right side of seat takes brunt weight thus I assume springs finally gave away over years. Local junk yards say have none ,1 in Texas they say.Would a regular upholstery shop be able to rebuild seat and reuse cover? The couple shops in my area do recovering and say nothing else about springs exc. Any ideas you can think of? Thanks, Paul

There is a grid with springs. The edge foam is likely breaking down (and I see this even on my 2015 Explorer) is the foam. There is an upholstery place in texas that makes the covers (I got a one for 2000 eb) and they also sell the foam. This is what it looks like from below :)

Any chance that you could post more pictures of the seat apart. This is on my too do list over the winter.
