Hello Everyone,

One of my boys tapped the overhead louver vent (behind the front passenger seat) a bit too hard and broke a couple of the louvers - I have a new one on order but can't seem to determine how, exactly, this piece is removed. Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Removal and Installation

Fabricate a removal tool from a 1/8-inch diameter rod.

Rotate the A/C register with the removal tool to align the retaining ears with the clearance openings and remove the A/C register.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Well I'll be darned - I would have never, ever guessed that to be the removal method! Thank you so much, Roxy!

Your Welcome

The tool really isn't needed once you figure out where the retaining ears are but I thought this would be the easiest way for you
and hopefully others
