I have a 2005 Ford Expedition. I also have a Golden Retriever that loves to ride around with me. His hair has shed over the years and become entwined in the carpet. It is quite a job to attempt to clean the hair and even after trying to remove it there is still a lot of residual hair.

I am curious if anyone has removed the floorboard carpet and sprayed bedliner or some other similar product as a replacement. If so, how do you like it?

Thanks for you replies.....

Aside from noise, it will be very hot especially during summer days. I would get a cargo liner instead.

As others have said it will be noticeable louder and warmer. Never went that way but had a Crown Vic that was a former State Trooper car with a rubber floor mat instead of carpet. I was surprised how much quieter is became when I replaced it with carpet.
