Hey guys,

I have a 98 expo with a sunroof and it has an approx. 6 inch or so square cut into the roof behind the sunroof with some clips. It is removable and is wrapped with the headliner, same color. I was told the sunroof motor was replaced and this is what they leave behind?

Now I am about to buy a 97 expo and it has the same thing? Just wondering if anyone else knows/has this?

Thanks.

Brian

I popped off the one on my 1998 and the motor for the sunroof is right under it. Is this what happens when the sunroof motor has to replaced?

Super old post, I get it. But you have an aftermarket sunroof, hence that removable access panel.
