Hello, I have a 2013 expedition 4X4 limited and put about 60000km on it. In Canada, the roads are always covered by snow and pretty icy in winter. I drove a lot 4A in winter, but always 2h in summer. never tried 4h or 4l. However, since this winter, when you release the accelerator in the speed range from 20km/h to 60km/h, the car jerks in 4A mode ( everything is fine in 2H mode). this happens when the car is totally warmed up (after 10-20 mins driving). and after about half hour driving, the car jerks randomly in the same speed range. (not just when you release the accelerator.) feel like randomly heavily hitting something on the road.
I brought the car to the dealer, they did a test drive and reported: eec test, no fault codes. road test, noted when in auto 4x4 you can feel a surge. this is the front wheel locking in and out when wheel speed differs from front to rear. and this is normal. no repairs need.
I don't think this is normal because the car performs like a bumper car in low speed... any body has this experience before? thanks
PS: my front 2 tires are about 60000km old and rear tires are brand new. they are the same brand and same series. is it possible that this is causes by tires? because I noticed this firstly after I got those two new rear tires.
