Well I've replaced the plugs before and had two break off in the head. So I was dreading changing the plugs again but I'm glad I did. The plugs I just replaced had about 60000 miles and the cops were the original ones that came with the truck. I replaced 2 in the last year and another had gone bad so I decided to try it the weapon x and I don't regret it.

This is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth....

If your original parts were worn out then just swapping in new ones probably would have made the same difference. I know my plugs were toast at 50K. I'm still on my original COPs though. But I've had bad experiences with aftermarket COPs. Granted that was on something that is blown and far from stock. But I figure if my stock COPs can handle 19psi then they're fine for a stock engine.

YellerCobra, yes sir I agree with you. That the original cops are good enough. But I got the weapon x cops plus 20% off which made them cheaper than oem cops so that's why I went that route. And as far as the plugs go I wanted a one piece design that I would not never have to worry about breaking off in the head again. So for me is peace of mind on the plugs. They are only a 20000 mile spark plug but I figured I would give them a try and so far I'm happy. But I like the oem cops and they great just expensive. I've bought the cheaply made o,rielly cops at 45 a piece that have lifetime warranty which are ok. But I had one go bad that I had to replace so I had decided on going with oem but those were $85 a piece so I figured that I would try these out.

I get the price thing. It's one the reasons I tried Accel in the Cobra. To say my car didn't like them would be an understatement. Did you have to swap the wires in the COP plugs? I've known guys that had to do that when going to the Weapon X coils. I never understood why they would do that.

Hey look I I'm about to show you a pick of the engine bay with these installed. But please be kind. The engine is dirty. I just took the expedition from my wife she now drives the new tundra but to answer your question no I did not swap the wires. I used the oem wire harness.
