does anyone know where there are good frame grounding points on 2nd gens? prepping to push 8K watts in the truck

Just looked at the wiring diagrams and that is the only location with a factory ground all the other grounding points are on body locations
appears that you may have to drill and mount any grounding points you need

plan on having 4 batteries in the rear...but i'm going to have 5 amps in the truck

Your going into the big truck neighborhood with the total amperage those batteries will provide. You may want to consider isolating the circuit from the vehicles circuitry - if you were to use 4-925cca batteries that would be 3700cca on the ground side.

Yea it would.

"Man I can run my starter for a full 2 minutes without my batteries even draining. Then my starter melts and catches on fire...."
