2007 Expy limited. Just purchased new Michelin ltx m/s2 20". The ride is quiet, great in rain. (75 mph in down pour, felt no different than dry pavement). However on wash board or patched roads the tires feel wobbly or jiggly. I know they are a softer side wall for better ride oh highway. Running factory settings 35psi w/nitrogen. would upping the pressue to 38 or even 40 help this. I frequently have a full load of people. Very little off road.

Try it and see.

I would think that more pressure would make the sidewalls stiffer. Which would make it rougher on wash board. And wash board taken at fast speeds would be fun as the back end might bounce out from behind you.

I've got 285/50r20 nankang street tires on my 2000 expedition 4x4. I run close to the max pressure on tire about 47psi with no ill effects . Have your tire shop make sure your tires don't have a bad steel belt. Don't be afraid to run more pressure. If it gets slippery in the wet, then drop pressure. Works for me. Good luck.

What they said. Increasing the tire pressure won't cause any harm. It is better to start with 38psi.
