Without upgrading the brake calipers, you will not likely see any added benefit to the drilled and slotted, IMO.. Other than the higher cost and inability to walk into your local parts store to warranty them...

WRONG!!!! the slotted and drilled rotors along with upgraded pads give the ability for the brakes to vent the natural gases that build up between the rotor and pads as you are braking, allowing them to clamp harder and quicker. it also aids in getting rid of moisture on the brakes quicker when going through deep puddles.

anyways, i bought my brakes from ROTORPROS - Performance Brakes - Brake Pads, Brake Rotors and Brake Kits I highly suggest them. I believe I paid $320 shipped for all 4 rotors and ceramic pads. Now when I do panic stops, the brakes clamp so hard it feels like the back tires want to leave the ground, and ABS really works hard at doing its job. Again, awesome upgrade.

I know what the theory is behind drilled and slotted... But my past experiences have shown little difference without going with a more powerful caliper, braided lines, etc.. Glad to see this is not the case with the Expy, though!

I actually feel the difference with slotted rotors after a mud bath.. The stock rotors after a dip, forced me to drive around a bit more before going any place that required braking..

with the setup I have if you have to do a panic stop, even with the 22's I had with 305/40's, it would grab so hard it felt like the back tires were coming off the ground. So to say the least, they work great. Now with the 18's I currently have braking is even better. I would recommend this upgrade to anyone. It doesnt matter if you go through who i used or someone else, it is worth it.

Went with the brakemotive set. 4 new rotors and all new ceramic pads. Installed for about 2 weeks. Broke them in. So far so good. $205.00 shipped FedEx. Amazing and so far so good. Will post again after I have had them for a bit but so far so good. Great deal.

Have had these rotors and pads for over a year now. After a few months, when I was on the highway, they felt like they had a shimmer to them. Then when I braked hard, they really felt like they were shaking.

Found front rotor had warped, they just never felt right. Removed all 4 rotors and pads a few weeks ago. Went OEM. Never been better. No more shakes, truck stops much better. I have all the removed rotors and pads. Only put 3K miles on them as I don't use the truck much. They look horrible, so beat up. The metal on the rotors looks like it is cracking.

You get what you pay for. I would stay away from Brakemotive.

I bought from brakemotive 4 yrs ago and my truck stops on a dime to this day with 26 inch rims...no complaints from them...is it possible ppl got a bad batch or product...yes...but the poll of ppl that bought from them being happily satisfied is greater than those that aren't happy...by a long shot

Just keep in mind that to stop quicker means a more aggressive pad. Keep an eye on your rotor thickness since the wear will usually accelerate.

I had read tons of threads on the Brakemotive before I decided to purchase. Most seemed positive. Mine just seemed to fall apart. Again, not much use at all. The metal on the rotors became rough and looked to start cracking. After a year of very little use, one warped. The others looked 10 years old. They were not stopping my truck very well.

Now with OEM, OMG what a difference. Smooth sailing. I will keep you guys posted.

Thanks.
