Hey guys I'm kind of a noob to this whole expi thing. Can I fit a Ford factory 16in wheel on my 1st gen expi and clear all my braking components such as calipers? I would prefer to run a 33x10.5 16 over an 18 and want to get rid of those ugly cheap eddie bauer 17's with the plastic chrome wheel faces. Any info would be huge thanks guys.

Yes 1st gen came with 16s and also 17s you will be fine. 16in tires are harder to find that's why I keep my 17s

What is the bolt pattern for the first gen expi? I work at a Ford dealer so getting parts is actually pretty easy and can get them at a decent discount. That was why that question was directed as it was. I would like to find the early 2000's f150 5 spoke but not totally sure if they would fit.

Thanks DICK. But working at a dealer doesn't mean people are aware of swap possibilities and potentials. My question was directed toward growth of knowledge there are a lot of possibilities for Ford oem wheels, In a wide variance of sizes I'm pretty sure you didn't know when you started building your rig what wheels if you decided to go smaller would actually clear brake components or what factory wheels come with what off sets allowing you to clear wider tires with out rub. Next time you want to be a **** sucker stop and think maybe there is a reason they are asking this question. Note to self don't post any questions that aren't rhetorical cuz you'll get the same type of response from me.

And for the record bedrck46 Working at a dealer has some perks building a rig on mods and shit like that isn't one of them Research I can find through my parts dept is wheel sizes but they don't know off sets and the information I want or need to know to do the things I want to achieve. Once again google was able to produce me off set sizes and stuff as well as a list of vehicles with a 5x135 bolt pattern and actaually gave a lot of options for factories that some people may not have thought of and aren't Ford wheels
