Yes I know lowering an expy is bonkers but thats my style. I have a 2003 Lightning also that Is slammed and I just love the lowered look. Ive had lifted trucks in my past but Just aint me. anyway...to top it off its an AWD model to add. Im not looking to ground pound the Expy just a simple drop to close the wheel gap. Im also going to be rolling on 20" lightning replica wheels. SO my idea is to flip the front torsion bars (left to right front to back) than just throw in a set of 3" belltech springs. Now...are the 2wd and 4wd rear coils the same? I also want to throw in a AIRLIFT 1000 air bag kit when I haul things around. I want to know the dimensions of a stock spring and a lowered spring. length and width. Reason why Im asking is because I want to know If I can fit the airlift airbag kit in the lowering spring or get a different model airbag.
thanks
Mike

the two springs...stock vs drop will be different...i have 2" ground force springs and they are completely different than the stocks...i would advise going to parts store for stock spring demensions and ask belltech to send you theres or you can see when you have it in hand

Any updates on your lowering?
I have an 02 that the springs came from Canuck along with the torsion keys. Works great with a lil more than anticipated bump!

Any ideas or suggestions you can share please do!~

Ill try to get some pics to post of my dd

I'm ordering a set of 2" rear lowering springs meant for a 2wd model and I'm flipping the torsion bars left to right and front to back. Suppose to drop the front 3"
