Does anyone know what the difference is? In 15 years of owning Ford Expeditions, this is the first I've heard this Touring term.

Thanks!

it was used in regards to conversion kits for air suspension shocks. My mechanic says the ones i got won't fit but they seem like the correct pn's .
there is one odd version called ford expedition touring noted on the strut makers site - only time I've ever seen that. i think i bought the correct ones.

going to sell the vehicle - I give up. thanks

Unity

The manufacturer was Unity, sold by Complete Struts out of Florida.

Front part number:
2-61380C-008

Rear part number:
2-65080C-010

Sale price of $261

....and that's my story. My mechanic says they don't fit.

Oh boy, now you have me nervous I have 4 new struts from them sitting in my garage with a leveling on them waiting to be mounted on the truck. I was certain there was no difference from touring and standard Expedition so I the first ones that came up. I am going to put them on on Saturday so I'll let you know if mine fit but if they don't boy am I going to be upset.
Was there a reason the mechanic gave you for them not fitting?

Uh-Oh, i just did a bit of research, if you do not have existing air suspension then "Rear part number:
2-65080C-010"
this part you and I bought will not fit in the strut housing and you instead need to buy the part number:
2-15080-006
for the rear struts.....
I think this is right. But let me know how they don't fit if you could.
