Okay everyone! I was able to get everything back in its place, started up with no issues, no check engine light, no codes and a clean inspection. This had to be one of the hardest mechanical things that I have ever done. I thought I would have never been this deep inside an engine, but luckily with help I was able to get it corrected and shove the mechanics diagnostics out the window (I needed a new engine).

What I did was I removed the pass camshaft and put the engine in time by hand, since the drive side was already in time, and I verified a few dozen times. Once in time I clamped the camshaft down so that it would not move (drive side). Then I lined up the pass side camshaft up to be in time along with making sure that the timing chain was in the right position. Once the chain was good, I had a helper hold the camshaft in place while I slowly tightened down the caps that hold the camshaft in place.

This is where I was worried, because I did not want to warp the camshaft, so I took my time and everything lined right up with no snags.

I kind of took the hard away around my issue from the start. I had a rumble sound coming from inside the engine and tried everything under the sun before open up the engine. come to find out the pass side chain guide had been destroyed, so since I bought an entire set of timing parts I changed them all out (minus the phasers, which may be done sometime next year to remove the knocking sounds)

All in all the EXPY got a great tune up from fuel pump, spark plugs, MAF cleaning, coil packs, oil pressure test, new timing chains, guides and tensioners and new oil, along with some new tools that I wanted…. LOL

Thanks for all the help guys.
