Nice build thread. I just did the plugs in my 2000- the easy, regular style plugs. If I had as much trouble as you I think I would have had the sherrif talking to me about why I shot my truck- and then reloaded and shot it again.

Sucks about the ditch. Snow is one thing. Ice is another.

Thanks! The truck is now mine. Sent the last payment a couple of weeks ago.

Just installed some heated seats. They work great and I am glad that I did not shell out the $400 for a shop to do it. Took me about 3 hours and that is taking my time. $42.50 well spent.

So. Wheel bearing finally had it. Had to take it to Mr. Tire near my work and had them replace it. Also had them replace both lower ball joints with Moog joints and did an alignment. And since my wallet was already open, had them do the transmission service. Set me back quite a bit and I would have done it myself but I don't have time to get it done before I leave for a long trip next week. Luckily, the truck feels brand new and no squeaks over bumps now. Yay for fixed truck! Boo for empty wallet.

So the 2005 has been sold. Here is my new one. A 2013 Ford Expedition EL Limited. Fully loaded.

The other Expedition was going to cause me some problems in the near future being a Northeast vehicle so why not. I paid it in full so no car payments either.

I have an appointment scheduled for the remote start and alarm this Saturday along with a drop down monitor. I will continue to use this thread as the goal with this one is still an Airliner.

I am just not a fan of the 20" wheels. Would rather have my 17" EL XLT wheels back.

So I am finished with what I wanted to do to the truck. Lifted it about 2.75" and threw on some 18x9 Fuel Trophy wheels and Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. Same tires I had on the other ones. I wish there were more polished or silver wheels for trucks but majority of them are a black finish. I think the truck looks exactly how I wanted it and all of the creature comforts that I wanted were there already so I think this is pretty much done. I may add little things here and there but all of the big stuff is done.

Here are some pictures:

my old 97 4.6. Considering getting a 2nd gen cause I like the looks better. King ranch if I can find one. As for this its stock other than a muffler cutoff and a turn down. Had plans but she's getting old and I'm ready for something new. Also a basshead so something a little bigger my do good.
