Don't go over the 2000rpm mark,

Minimize idle time

Don't use AC

Do the speed limit

Use cruise control often

Remove all unnecessary weight

Lose weight

Drive with windows closed to reduce drag

Get a low gear ratio if you use highway frequently or high ratio if you use city roads more

Don't use 4x4

Are there any better ones?

I'm coming from driving diesel.... there, Lucas makes CLAIMS, but can't hold a candle to Howe's (sadly a diesel-only brand)

And maybe it's BECAUSE of driving diesel, but I'm a faithful convert to running additives.... COULD just be the fact that ULSD is utter sh!te to begin with, and the sad sad state of added-as-an-afterthought civilian gas station diesel pumps wasn't helping matters

You want better mpg's or what? Get on that treadmill and while you're loosing weight you get to build your leg muscles and stronger legs can help in pushing the truck to places... Pushing the truck gives you infinite mpg's

Hahaha well it gave me a laugh for what it is.

Truly I say do what you can but instead of spending more to attempt to increase the mpg's just save what you can and maybe a hybrid Tahoe or an EcoBoost is the best long term goal.

Cost of vehicle operation has nearly NOTHING to do with MPG.... mostly vehicle price and service costs

Example: You run a $30k Prius for 200k miles, and your cost per mile of JUST paying down that Prius....will be approximately the cost per mile of putting gas into an Expedition

it's just one of the last places to squeeze a few bucks savings out
