HELLO TO EVERYONE READING THIS..I HAVE A 99 EXPO AN ITZ AROUND 130,000 MILES BUT STILL RUNS GREAT. IAM HAVING AN ISSUE WITH IT AN ITZ PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE. I FIXED THE ARMS,BALL JOINTS, BEARINGS,TIE RODS,NEW ROTORS,NEW TIRES...AN FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT MAKE THE NOISE GO AWAY:(...IT SOUNDS LIKE TIRE RUBBING WHEN I TURN RIGHT UNTO AN INTERSECTION AN PUSH ON THE GAS A LITTLE.DOES ANYONE KNOW OR EVER EXPERIENCED IT BEFORE AN HOW CAN IT BE FIXED OR WHAT IS IT????LIKE I SAID I PRETTY MUCH CHECKED EVERYTHING NO RUBBING MARKS UNDER TRUCK OR NOTHING..CAN ANYONE GIVE ME INFO:(:confused:

check the brake backer plates. They may be rubbing against the disks?

You "fixed" the arms? Please explain that a little better. How did you replace the bearings? They are a unit bearing and must be replaced as a whole. With everything you said you did, an alignment was not one thing you mentioned you did. Most likely your "fixed arms" and tie rod replacement needs to be aligned for the cv axle to seat properly into the knuckle.

ok fixed or replaced itz the same thing. u know u cant fix the arms only replace them with new ones ...i replaced the idler arm an pitman.i also got the bearing repacked not replaced.an of coarse an alignment also cause thats something u have to do.. i am talking to u guyz for i can take notes an asked the mechanic to have a look at such an such....:D. so if anyone has anymore ideas on what it could be reply an dont tell what i didnt mention cause if u know it goes with the work dont bother telling me what i put down;)

well i also went to pepboys an they cant seem to know what the problem is he stated that the the person that changed out the arms an tie rods didnt grease them up but itz been 3 days since then an the noise is still there :mad: so whats next i will take that into my notes deo thx

It's best that if you want anynone to try and help you, well dont be an ass. They simply needed more info on what you did and all they did was ask. No reason to get snippy towards them.
