Excellent job and very kind of you to share,

They don't seem adjustable, as in the pic seems most of your light beam is aimed more to the floor than the garage? Can you try shimming the bottom to give it a better aim?

Your modification reminds me of an old thought I had, with this set up the back is clear as day but the sides are pitch black, is there a way to engage the mirror puddle lights when in reverse to help you see if you are too close to an object like a flower bed or a parking spot line?

The picture of the light spread against the house is a little bit misleading; my driveway slopes up to the house hence the splash directly behind the truck.

To be honest I never thought about utilizing the puddle lights, thats a pretty good idea. I imagine you would have to add a relay from the reverse switch to activate them. Unless you added a couple small LEDs along the side of the truck. I ran these inside the back lift gate so when it is open there is light on the ground where you are standing.

They are super cheap and pull almost no power but are very very bright. The wiring included with them is ridiculously small, like 24 gauge, so be carefull with them.

Anyways, 2 or 3 on each side of the truck may work perfectly. Of course there are the old stick on light bars as well. They shed a lot of light for their size and cost. Could slap one under the mirror, or 2 of them on the running boards.
