So over the past 2-3 weeks the wife an I have experienced a warning light that came up along with Zero power no matter how how much accelerator petal was applied. Pulling over to the side of the road and stopping the Truck and restarting temporarily fixed this.

I finally was able to get the Truck in today and the Service advisor called me to say that they fixed it and it was a Throttle body and it was replaced under recall.

Our truck is a 2016 and has 17xxx, of which we put on like 5k in 3 month ( lot of summer road trips)

I was just wondering if any one has had any more of this issue with the 3.5L Ecoboost.
The SA said the Explorers and gen 1 EB F150s were also having similar issues.

Yes! Same issue: came to a stop light that turned green just as a stopped completely. Let off brake and applied gas and boom, dead stick in an intersection. Limped to a parking lot turned it off and back on. "Wrench" light went away. Took it to dealership next day and they pulled a code deep within Expedition land for the electronic TB. Changed and have t had issue since. Vehicle had 14,000ish miles 2016 EL Platinum 4x4

Are you SURE this was replaced under safety recall? Ford is required by Federal law to sent written notice to the owners of motor vehicles affected by safety recalls.

Can you review the invoice that you received and post the recall information (such as recall number) that is listed on it? Thank you.

The NHTSA.gov web site does NOT list any safety recalls for the 2016 Ford Expedtion.

I own a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4.
