That's awesome. How are you planning on looking behind you when you're driving? Are you going to just rely on the side mirrors? Are they going to be the kind of speakers that have extremely heavy bass, extremely clear audio, or both? I like the custom gain-mob things. Post updates when you make them!

Also, how are you getting the power to power all of those speakers? Do you have an additional car battery? How long have you been working on this?

Bwahahahaha... no need to look behind while driving forward... side mirrors only... I've always had my side mirrors set to minimize blind spot anyway... before I pass a car to see them in my rearview they're still in my side mirrors... and I have backup sensors so parking isn't an issue... loud bass and clear vocals is what my setup will be... so loud and clear...i have 2 northstar NS480AGM batteries and 2 extra 370 amp alts that will be installed on the truck... not including the alt on the motor... that's PLENTY of power supply for my 20K watt system

WOW! That looks awesome! I'm a stereo nut myself but have nothing as loud as yours will be. Currently have four 12" subs in my 2000 Expedition and yet to be determined subs for my 97 Expedition. I run three 12" subs in both my 02 Corvette and 91 Eagle Talon. Will be putting a 13.5" sub in my 99 Corvette tomorrow. Keep posting pictures, will love to see your progress.

Where was that first picture taken? They looked like speakers in the sunroof at first glance

Out of my own morbid curiosity: how much $$$ is invested in that? Between all the stereo/electronic components, speakers, wiring, wood/fiberglass/sealant, vibration dampener, wiring, alternators, batteries, suspension upgrades and any associated supporting materials? Not counting labor and consumables.

I was in the car audio game for a while back in the day, but never to that extreme. Best I ever did was to build a box for twelve 12s and 2 US Amps (that were 4' long each).
