When you touch the brakes on the highway, does the steering wheel turn, or does the vehicle sorta drift to one side? If your front brakes are not working with the same force on each side, the effect is noticed by a "pull" in the steering wheel, a lot like hitting a water puddle on one side only.

A rear brake mismatch will be noticed by a drift, with no discernible movement in the steering wheel.

I just did a coolant change on mine but decided against replacing the thermostat and water pump... it was easy the only difficult part was actually finding the drain plug on the radiator. I used Zerex G-05 make sure they put in a 150,000 mile coolant and not cheap stuff because the green is not compatible with these but they'll try to put it in anyway. Mine just hit 155,000 miles this week.

Change or flush? If it hasnt been flushed before your radiator is probably full of crap by now....

Thanks for the help here.
The braking on the highway is very much a drift and not a pull. I will check the brake temps with an IR thermometer.

Checked the brake rotor temps today first with an IR thermometer then my tongue (o_O).

FL 160 FR 250
RL 210 RR 210

So I believe the front left caliper is not doing its job. Is this right and any suggestions for tests of just get a new one?

Thanks,
Stephan

I Flushed it, there wasn't much there but I did get some scum out. Most people never even change there coolant ever so if you change it that's enough in my book, better than running it on original coolant for 200k like so many people I know. I'm not worried about deposits if it ever got that bad I'd rip the radiator out and throw in a new one.

It sounds like the right caliper isn't completely releasing. You could have a collapsed or partially collapsed inner flexible brake line in the right side. It might be beneficial to eventually change all of the flexible brake lines with the mileage that you have.
