Add my 2015 Ford Expedition Limited 4x4 to the list of vehicles with bubbling paint.
I purchased the vehicle new and it has never been wrecked or damaged - and is used for only passenger use, no towing or hauling.
Now at 30,*** miles - the paint on the inside seam of the rear hatch is bubbling all along the seam. I maintain the vehicle meticulously, including hand washing, drying and waxing. It is still covered by the basic warranty and I will show it to the service advisor on my next trip. I also bought the Ford extended warranty.
This was my first Ford in over 45 years of driving and vehicle ownership. I am very upset with the problem and have never had the paint bubble like this on any other vehicle I have owned.
After reading most of the threads in this topic, it is apparent that Ford is well aware of the problem and has done NOTHING to prevent it. Add me to the list of unhappy Ford customers who will never consider another Ford vehicle that uses aluminum for body panels.
