I have not found the section in ForScan it is just a readout in the startup/connection log. Nothing happens if you click on it.

Thanks for the video. Much easier to get to than my 02 Explorer. It was in the B pillar and took a bunch more effort to get to.

Hell, on my ‘05 Towncar you had to remove the drivers side door panel to see it. [emoji107]

After ordering my OBDLink back in December, I finally got around to making the double-honk, bambi mode, and Sync boot screen (Raptor SVT baby!) changes to my Expy. I had been driving around with the scan tool flashing at me since I got it, but it was too cold to sit in my garage to fiddle with it!

So now that I'm done I'm wondering if I should take it out and put it in my glovebox or something. I have the MX Bluetooth model, so I can't use it with my iPhone. What do you guys do with your OBD scanners when not in use?

I'd suggest not leaving it attached to the OBD port since it's always drawing a small amount of power.

Has anyone discovered how to display your environmental fan speed on your Sync 3 display when you push the fan ‘hard buttons’...see pic, this shows on my Mustang and would like for it to display on my Expy.

I created a forscan account today for just this reason, it's a real pain not to see the fan speed when the radio screen is up. Would also like to know how to add the "auto" option in the rear hvac control menu so it will sync with the front. My XLT just has the rear options for turning it on and adjusting from the screen or enabling the controls in the back. Real hassle to adjust it while driving when the kids need a temp or fan speed change.

Thanks guys! After I posted my question, I realized I could pickup a cheap Android tablet to connect to the scanner while operating the Expy, so my next question is what do you monitor with the scanner *while operating the vehicle?

I'm taking it into the stealership tomorrow for 10k service, so I'll be sure to pop out the scanner so the mechanic gets really confused when he sees the Raptor boot screen!

I am bummed that we can't add the climate controls to the message center -- that would be quite useful.

* I don't mean to suggest I would actively use a device while driving. In fact, I am on a crusade against distracted driving after noticing all the people blatantly using their phones while drive 60+ MPH!!!! If it's that important, pull the f*#% over!!!
