Just wanted to say hello to all the forum members.

Picked up a new 04 Eddie Bauer 4x4 in Oxford White. Loving the Nav and DVD systems (my daughter is the one really enjoying the DVD!)


With another baby due later this year, I traded in an 02 Corvette Z06 to get this second family car (other ride is an 01 Camry). Anyway, the joke at my office is me going from 1 cup holder in the Vette to 11 in the Expy!

We bought the new design in 03 and absolutely love it! This X is far superior to the Tahoe we had. Rides and handles far better. Has much better torque and towing. But the killer is the redesigned rear seat that fold flat.

If you have kids you'll grow absolutely dependent on this truck. This new X is the "air superiority" craft for the new millenium family. We've taken our whole crew of 8 (gramps, kids and all) on several 400-500 mile treks with this baby. Everyone is comfortable and content in the back. So much leg room(even in the third row) to sit and watch DVDs. Even more leg room than Gramp's larger suburban.

The first 420 mile trek we had 8 adults, pulling a 16 foot tandem U-Haul loaded down. We were moving kids from college with furniture and stuff. The X wasn't even puffing hard. Cruising at 75-80 on the turnpike you barely noticed the trailer.

After a full year of driving this thing I can't say enough good. I seriously doubt I'll ever go back to a GM SUV.
