    Time to park it?

I would keep it, but that's just me; I tend to grow fond of and hang on to things. It has no cancer, it has 170K, I had the top end done at 160K and has never been in an accident. I live in the Nevada desert, it's a 4x4 and and I use it off road a lot. The drive train (axles, A-arms, the works)...

    Need More Chip Keys

I have a 2003 XLT. I ordered chip keys on Amazon and my local locksmith programed them for $15.00. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XYTLMBN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

03 xlt door ajar light always on

I had the same problem with my 2003 XLT. I sprayed WD-40 on all door latch mechanisms (including rear window and tailgate) to get them all moving smoothly and the problem was solved. Good luck and I hope this helps.

    Door ajar problem solving.

I had the same problem with my 2003. It drove me nuts trying to figure out which one was the culprit. One day, one of the door latches became sticky. I grabbed my trusted can of WD40 and went to work. I cleaned, sprayed and adjusted all four door latches, tailgate latch and rear glass latch. Low...

Cylinder 1 Misfire. NOT plug, coil,or injector. Help

Coolant ran low, but only about a quart a month. Not really noticeable, but it doesn't take but a drop or two to cause an intermittent miss. What caused me to look in that direction was that it didn't miss until the truck warmed up. Not necessarily your issue, just a suggestion for an alternate...

Cylinder 1 Misfire. NOT plug, coil,or injector. Help

Same thing happened to mine at 175K. It ended up being the intake manifold gasket leaking coolant into #1 cylinder. Getting in there was beyond my capability, or desire to even try, so $2,800.00 later it was cured.

Popping Noise From Rear A/C Blower '03 Expo

I had the same problem with my 2003 Expedition, after digging into it I discovered it was the plastic gear mechanism that sits on top of the housing and actuates the flapper door inside the A/C. Of course Ford doesn't sell just the gear, so I removed it and installed a screw in the top of the...
