Good point regarding the tax consequences...Basically, the trade in value ($24K) offered by the dealer would be about $2,000 in tax benefit. Thanks to all responders for input! Supply chain hiccups...
Anybody else not able to get parts for their transportation? My Expy needed new rotors and pads not so much do to wear after 62K miles, but when towing my trailer the usual slight steering wheel shake got stronger and annoying. My bad, I just checked the truck and you are correct is referring to the setting as 4A (4 Auto)...This brings up another question in that you state that 4A engages the IWE's, but not 4WD...I assumed that 4A would automatically activate 4WD when the truck sensed traction loss, am I wrong? This brings up a question I have had regarding a work around if the vacuum lines fail for some reason. In that case, can't AWD or 4WD be activated so that the hubs do engage and not be damaged until the IWE system can be repaired? Wind forces increase with larger surface areas. My TT is 25' and I personally would not want to go larger with a small tow vehicle like my Expy. WD and sway control hitch, you need both (I have an Equilizer 4 way and am very pleased)!...And ALWAYS use tow/haul mode when towing!...IMHO don't tow anything over about 25', regardless what others opine...- Bigfishfin
