4x4 actuator on front wheels HELP
4x4 actuator on front wheels seems to be acting in reverse. With Engine ON and switch in 2H, I’m getting vacuum to the actuator and the actuator is engaging the axle shaft. Glad U have fixed. Just an FYI - if it’s a 4WD drive vehicle, and the WSS light comes back on, check the 4WD actuator for that wheel also to see if it’s damage or having intermittent problems. Driver front caliper locking up.
Have you checked if the 4WD actuator has gone bad on the driver side causing ONLY that front wheel to go into 4x4 and locking the hub & axle and slowing the truck down? 2004 expedition Eddie Bauer Front AC blower is on but nothing coming through 4 dash vents
Check the vacuum line carefully it’s likely broken. You might have to remove the battery & battery tray to get more room to work. The original owner 2004 Ford Expedition E.B 5.4. It is struggling to Accelerate and it's bad!! HELP!!!
I have a 2004 also. 2 things 1) Check if the Catalytic converters are blocked. Have an exhaust shop check it under acceleration. Normal idle might be OK, but under acceleration it’s blocked. 2) check if the front brake are binding - check calipers/hoses. My expy was having issues...- cecilbridge
