WTH is this ticking/banging noise!?
The ticking noise is most likely the injector. The injectors are known to be loud. There is not a performance problem related to this, just noise. I've had it in my 04 with the 5.4L for quite some time.- coach k

Sleeping Platform
I've slept in the back of my 04 many times. There's plenty of room. I just used an air mattress. Your system looks a lot more comfortable and functional.- coach k

06 Expedition Oil
I started using Mobile 1 5W-20 when the odometer hit 96,000. I have changed oil and filter never going past 5,000 miles between changes. The odometer is currently at 178,500. No problems. Still has plenty of power. Runs and idles great.- coach k

I have coolant leak
Is this a problem others have seen? I was hoping this would be a DIY fix. I would love to hear some suggestions. I can't tell where its coming from.- coach k

I have coolant leak
Just below the thermostat ( not the housing itself but about two inches lower) coolant seems to be leaking/seeping. Not enough to drip on the ground but enough to make the front of the engine wet and gooey. Its a 2004 5.4L. I was getting ready to change the plugs when I noticed the goo on top...- coach k

How do you remove the door panel?
There seems to be something loose rattling inside the driver's door. When I roll the window down it makes scraping noise too. I guess 7 years of slamming the door has worked something loose. I tried to remove the door panel with no success. Took out the 3 screws and it still didn't budge...- coach k

what transmission do I have?
The tag inside the door frame says I have a 'W' but my owners manual says that is a 5 speed manual and I have an automatic with O/D. Any ways to determine what I have before I go and change fluid and filter? 04 with 5.4L. Thanks for your help.- coach k
