Fuel pump assembly
Good morning, just wanted to ask if a fuel pump assembly of an f150 will fit in the fuel tank of my 2000 model ford expedition? I saw a low priced assembly online and just need your opinion if it will be a direct fit. Thank you.- docraymund

Idle problems
Check all vacuum hoses for brittleness especially the one at the back, near the firewall.- docraymund

Theft system wonky
Try resetting it. Disconnect both battery terminals and touch them together to discharge the capacitors. Good luck!- docraymund

Bad PCM?
Check for poor ground issues. Do a voltage drop test on grounding sites. These can be found in a dvd repair manual.- docraymund

GEM Troubleshooting Question
Check for short to ground on all wires connected to that fuse. Especially on areas that are on contact with metal.- docraymund

1997 4.6L issues HELP with ideas please
Check or replace spark plugs on cylinder 1 and 3, check fuel pressure at idle and while revving, if low, change fuel filter, if still low, change fuel pump. If still running rough after verifying spark plugs 1 and 3, and fuel pressure is normal, try bending the tabs of the fuel injector male...- docraymund

Need to move car. No key
A door key can be made and it will also fit in the ignition switch to release the steering wheel lock.- docraymund

Oil pressure gauge issue? Youtube link
One quick way is to buy or rent an oil pressure gauge with adaptor for your engine. It will tell you if the sending unit or instrument cluster is faulty. And it will also tell you if you have a lubrication problem. I suggest don't use the truck until you have checked the oil pressure manually.- docraymund

Stalling
Only one cylinder is low, it could be a valve problem. You need to do a cylinder leak down test. And pull the front timing chain cover so you could check the timing marks.- docraymund

Keyless entry trouble
I think you need 2 key fobs, 1 original and 1 replacement. The original is the one you press first followed by the replacement or spare. Maybe you could try this to test your key fob:- docraymund

Fix or leave it?
Why don't you just keep it, have it repaired and use it as a Sunday car? I think it's worth keeping since you maintained it well, parts in your area is easily obtainable, it is a reliable truck. Just find the extra budget for another vehicle that's not so expensive to be your service vehicle.- docraymund
