    I was also having the same issue. Replacing the drivers side ride height sensor solved my issue. I looked at it in IDS and we seeing erratic readings over bumps when the check suspension would come on. 10 minute swap but the spare tire needs to be dropped

    The 5.0 would fit all day! I would strongly recommend a 3" shroud since anything smaller looks too small. For a first retro you'd be crazy not to go with a threaded shaft. Its doesn't affect performance in any way but you'll lose the ability to adjust exactly how the projector sits.

    Spray the U joints in the steering intermediate shaft and see if it loosens. It's very common for the U joints to fail and cause tight or binding steering.

    Could be a grinding IWE. Jack the car up, start the car, set the 4wd selector in 2 high and spin the front wheels. If the car makes the noise you need a 4wd vacuum hub
