Oil leak?
Yeah looks like it's just coming from the oil filter and running back. Clean the area off with some degreaser or carb cleaner spray and make sure you oil filter is snug and recheck it in a week or so to see if you can isolate the cause of the leak. Are you using a Motorcraft 820 filter ? .- Hamfisted

2003 5.4 no start, PCM issue?
Is the security LED flashing high speed when you try to start it ? That would indicate a PATs problem. Like it doesn't recognize the key. Pop the hood and move the PCM harness around and look for a loose wire in the harness, especially the red one that powers the PCM. Why did you hotwire the...- Hamfisted

Short Circuit?
The only thing directly behind the glovebox that might smoke is the AC blower and it's speed resistor or that harness plug to the resistor. But I don't know how your "aftermarket equipment" is wired in. Does your AC blower still function normally ? All speeds available ? .- Hamfisted

Converting Lighting to LEDs
You can replace your stock hazard flasher relay for an LED flasher relay to eliminate the hyperflash. The LED relay will work with either incandescent or LED bulbs. Broken spark plug !
You can try it for a short while and let us know. Spray some Liquid Wrench penetrating oil into the sparkplug well to try and free it up too. I haven't really heard of anybody trying this method. But hell, it could work. .- Hamfisted

Broke bolt for coil pack?
Just for future reference .... Pull the intake off. Spray some Liquid Wrench on the broken bolt. Use a left hand drill bit to drill a hole into the broken bolt. If it doesn't come out while you're drilling you can use an extractor in the hole to screw it out. Left Hand Drill Bit Set on Amazon...- Hamfisted

You don't see any washer fluid running out of the passenger side rocker panel area right ? It's a common failure point for the rear tubing to rot and break apart along that rocker panel cavity and siphon off all the washer fluid from the tank.
