    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

Numbers now are around 77 degrees and 55/270. I tested several times while bringing the pressure down and it got down to around 75 or so but never got below that. It’s 115 out today… Here is a recording of it https://drive.google.com/file/d/12k_ig7mGIer-SO1FvZ9TXutHqWPCwfRP/view?usp=drivesdk

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

They are VERY high - I stopped at 60oz and let it run for a while. It was still pretty high and wasn't blowing very cold so I finished adding the extra 2oz to see if it would blow colder. At 60oz, and not blowing cold enough, I would think that if adding more didn't help, then taking more out...

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

With 110 degrees outside it is 70/390 stable blowing out the vents at about 70 degrees. If I increase engine RPM, it cools down to around 65ish Turn it off and it evens out at 150

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

Man, this is what I don't understand with these guys comments. I posted pictures of the gauges that I'm using and described in detail everything that I've done so far, yet they come at me like I need to be some ASE certified tech with Snapon tools on my belt. I pulled a vacuum with a 4.5cfm...

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

I beg your pardon - I'm not looking for an easy way out, just a guy without all the tools trying to fix his AC.

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

I really get what your saying, but am I out of line saying that most weekend warriors/garage monkeys on this forum don't have those things? I mean, he might be doing it "wrong" but I pulled in a shop a couple years ago to a guy that had been working on AC for 30 years and he pulled a vacuum...

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

System was cleaned and 11oz of new oil was added - all previous oil was removed. Granted...the compressor was not drained. I don't really have to measure it...each refrigerant can is 12oz so I just ad 5 and test it (2 oz shy of 62) If it isn't blowing cold, I put the last can on the kitchen...

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

With an AC vacuum - it pulls down past 0 on the gauges and I let it run for about 45 minutes then let it sit for a couple hours and make sure the needle hasn't moved.

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

**UPDATE** I had to do something. So, I installed a new condenser, dryer, expansion valve, orifice tube, and front manifold lines. Filled with 62oz of refrigerant and it's blowing at about 70 degrees. If I raise the RPMs to around 2k, it does come down to around 60 degrees. Low side pressure...

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

I wish I could provide what you're asking, I just can't. It can't be recreated I can't cause it to happen and by the time I get my gauges on if it happens start doing it where I actually have them, all my refrigerant is going to be gone. Is there anyone that can help to determine if this is...

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

Here are a couple videos I took - but the relief valve thing was not happening during this time unfortunately. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lH0Nu9sNUQ7TVmXQi-ZDP4P0nCdIhrvJ/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_RCyv3sPokNWAgpETOJs2skei-VjEd6A/view?usp=sharing

    AC Pressure Relief Valve woes

So the challenge I have with this is that I haven't added any refrigerant into the system since it started blowing freon out the first time and I was driving it the other day and it just started blowing freon again, even when it's on the low side already. How does that make any sense?
